I think I finally understand the whole point of the Russian collusion accusation.
It's not to prove that Trump is guilty and get him impeached.
It's to bait him into obstruction of justice and then get him impeached.
He doesn't even need to be guilty, just as long as it looks like he is obstructing justice, there will be grounds for impeachment. (You can argue that firing Comey already serves that purpose)
And he keeps taking the bait.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

If he were on his best behavior, he wouldn't fire Comey, or at the very least makes it clear that his firing had nothing to do with the Russian Investigation.
Yet he went on NBC and says exactly that.
Mark my words, he will fire Mueller despite his advisers begging him not to.

>he thinks a 4.5 year partisan witch hunt with no facts isn't going to help Trumps "I'm still an outsider" rep
Trump wants this to continue indefinitely to tell people in 2020 "Look they're still not getting used to a person out of the swamp to run the presidency"

Let me tell you how this will play out.
Republicans gets assblasted in 2018 because of the Russian Collusion narrative.
Democrats take over the house and file for impeachment of Trump on a number of grounds.
Even if Trump is not impeached, they will just obstruct until 2020 and then beat Trump over the head for broken campaign promises.
Trump loses reelection.
Game Over
