That is a loaded question if I have ever seen one. I may as well ask why are Communists so retarded?

America has always had to fight. It had to fight for it's freedom in the Revolution. It had to fight again in 1812. It had to duke it out with various parts of Europe and with Mexico. We even had a Civil War. Fighting is ingrained into American society.
