"Trickle down" doesn't exist. It's a caricature, a straw man. It's not a theory or way of regarding the economy that's been promoted by anyone.

Capitalism isn't a zero sum game. There isn't a static pool of wealth, with which one group does well at the expense of another. Free market policies lead to economic growth, which benefits all Americans. Flat earth leftist Venezuela-style economic policies lead to absolute misery for 99% of the population, while a mega rich elite of the government insiders and their friends live like kings, just like the Soviet Union, North Korea, and Maoist China.

Communism always leads to exactly what leftists accuse capitalism of being.
