The excuse of "Clearly you're paid to have that opinion" is just too easy for the mentally incompetent to use. It's no wonder it's such a popular excuse here. All you have to do is claim someone is a shill rather than attempting to refute or understand their own stance on an issue. It's the laziest, dumbest possible way to resolve an encounter with a different opinion you don't like.
