>One of the most plagued questions we get when talking about Fascism is economics, normally brought up by people still stuck in a liberal mentality and limited scope of perception, where everything is defined in term of social and economic policies, rather than principles derived from the notion of a singular Truth and Order that dominates the world. The variety of historic economic plans and practices maintained by various champions of our Struggle likewise distorts any comprehensive answer to the question. All in all we've simply answered people that economics are secondary, they don't matter in such a way as to be a fundamental and defining element of Fascism. The answer didn't change, however there is now a way in which we can describe this attitude to economics, and it's actually a word we've used repeatedly in reference to Fascism anyway: Socialism.

>Our Socialism, however, is not in of itself an economic system, it is not the Socialism of Marx and co and stands in direct opposition to both Communism and Capitalism. It would be more accurate to say that to Fascism, Socialism is the definitive social structure which is more comparable to the structures of Individualism and Collectivism, yet it stands in opposition to those two structures as well.

I kept trying to bring up how Communism is Socialist+Marxism and that True Socialism is Socialism+Nationalism. I kept trying to point out that Socialism is like me providing for them in their old age or giving $10 to my brother when he needs it but on a grand scale to the benefit of a homogenous nation that you care deeply for, almost as if family. I also kept pointing out how Capitalism was destroying our education and healthcare (you don't get the benefits you need, only what's the cheapest/convenient) and that the Swiss really do have a nearly perfect system economically

Its kind of hard to summarize until you have some background with the politics and terminology of the time, but I'll try. Marxism is what most people mean when they say "socialism" today, but for maybe 150 years there were competing philosophies that used the name, and in some cases, "socialism" referred to completely opposite philosophies. Natsoc is the ideological descendant of "Prussianism", a pro-social ideology that claimed to be "true socialism", concerned with racial and ethnic identity and the basis of national organization -- as opposed to Marxism, that wanted to eliminate all social differences (gender, class, race, religious, etc) and reduce all identity to class identity (proletariat vs capitalist), and create a "dictatorship of the proletariat", of the working class over the ownership class. This would require the abolishion of private property, of capitalism, and the state would become the only "owner" of capital. Natsoc, being anti-communist/marxist, held the opposite values:

>private property is fundamental to a healthy society
>inequality was in-line with natural law and should be preserved: class, gender, or racial
In all categories, natsocs are the opposite of marxists, but because the Marxist-Communist Left won the war of ideology in the last century, they came to define what words mean today. Thus, "socialism" is now widely regarded to ONLY refer to Marxist socialism, and it's philosophical views. People think there has only ever been ONE KIND OF SOCIALISM, and they never hear of anything else. Since WW2 its been a common propaganda trope by the lugenpresse to conflate Left-socialism with Natsoc "because they both have socialism in the name". Its as idiotic as arguing that a catfish "is a cat, because it has 'cat' in the name".
