OWS was a half-baked poorly designed idea that was supported by the MSM and the DNC. The DNC was pissed that the TEA Party, a genuine grass roots movement that enjoyed across the nation support and success, had aligned themselves with the GOP. The DNC wanted their own TEA Party but to push lefty socialistic themes. OWS was supposed to be the answer to the DNC's prayers. It was a flop.

I was very liberal at the time it was going on and even back then it seemed like a complete waste of time to me.
