I got sick a couple years ago and spent a good two weeks in bed watching old sitcoms on TV Land. Roseanne was the one show that surprised me with how fucking good it was. The drama was so realistic and so genuinely captivating that I'm surprised how little impact its seemingly had on the state of modern television. It's probably the only 90s sitcom besides The Simpsons and Seinfeld worth watching.
