"For example, a 3-year-old child consuming three cups of non-cow's milk relative to cow's milk was on average 1.5 centimeters shorter."

This isn't surprising considering cows milk stimulates IGF production in humans.
This does not actually correlate to health. Being 1.4 centimeters taller does not equal healthier. Higher IGF levels are also linked to a slew of various health conditions.
Human beings are not cows. They do not need cow milk to grow. Baby human's are fully capable of developing with human milk until they are old enough to get nutrition from real food.

My neighbours kids are like this. Their mum raised them in the the vegan/vegetarian cult. Despite the parents being quite tall (taller than me) their children are all stunted manlets and womanlets (shorter than me).
Their oldest just entered university and he looks like hes entering high school. Their daughter is constantly sickly and hospitalised and their youngest is meant to be 11-12 but looks, talks and acts like a 5 year old.

Where are the tits on an almond? What about a coconut? Have you ever seen someone milk a soy bean? Did the soy bean appreciate it? Don't lie and call those juices milk. Mammals produce milk. Goat milk or moose milk is a perfectly fine alternative to cow's milk if you can't afford to keep a cow on your homestead. All three contain growth horomones and high nutrition which contribute to the greater height and strength of milk drinkers.
