I as one feel as in todays times the Western Slavs are coming back together.
After history (((Germans))) parted us and little to no contact was between Czechs-Polaks in times of yore, this schism is now becoming undone.
Soon we will see rise of The Great Visegrad Confederation with Polaks, Czechs, Slovaks and Hungarians (honorary West Slavs) in its ranks.
And after the con-federalization we will launch the prophesied Generalplan West which will ensure the free living space for West Slavic future generations.

There was a shitton of war and eventually a compromise was wound. Hussites will tone down some of the greatest extremism in their faith and the catholic king Sigismund, the heir apparent, will be allowed to sit on Bohemian throne.
All was well, until Habsburgs managed to get their ass on Bohemian throne. Habsburgs were extreme catholics and in 1618 banneed hussites and made catholicism only official religion. Hussite aristocy revolted (which started 30 years war) but was completely rekt. They, as aristocrats, were expected some mild punishment, but they were all executed and their lands went to german nobles.

Then when we got independence, hussite church was dead for centuries and catholics were seen as habsburg oppressors, so czechs just dropped it completely. Still catholicism is somewhat a thing in moravia, where Hussite movement was historically weaker than in Bohemian part
