A 26-year-old policewoman is fighting for her life after being shot in the head when a man grabbed a police gun at a suburban station in Munich.
He fled the scene but was captured shortly afterwards. Police said one of the things they would attempt to find out through questioning was how he managed to bypass the security features on the gun.
Police said the attacker was a 37-year-old German man, born in Bavaria, with no registered address. The state prosecutor said his previous criminal record consisted only of possession of a small amount of cannabis, but that he would now be charged with attempted murder.
this sounds sketchy as fuck, so basically a homeless guys knows how to bypass the security features of the gun? give me a break

Well, the gun type is also used by the military, so if he is 29 and a citizen he had to serve 10 years ago.

>have security features put on gun
>security features impede the ability to respond quickly when needed
>security features are left deactivated or bypassed all the time for being a huge pain in the ass
>get killed because you're a woman that can't keep gun under control which is why the security features had to be put in place in the first place

I want to know what these 'security features' are that they talk about. External safeties don't need advanced calculus to figure out.

I'm no gun expert (flag related) but aren't a guns "security features" just a little switch to stop you accidentally pulling the trigger?

Here there are different levels of holster. Even armed guards have ones that you need to 'rock' the gun out of, and I think there are more complicated versions. All can be overcome; had an instructor show us one time and it was impressive and scary at the same time. Getting shot with your own gun something something insult to injury.

For all of you wondering what the "security features" are, see this video:

She got completely overpowered by a guy who is familiar with police holsters.
So a German police turned into a vegetable?
That's good news

No, they dont mean the holster.
The P7 that is used by the Bavarian police (and by the German army) has a safety cocking lever. with other words: You cant fire the gun if you dont grip it on a certain way. The guy knew how.

Indeed
So good
I'm so pissed threads like this get pruned and faggot bait threads are getting 5 replies per 10s

Are you supposed to squeeze the grip in order to shoot?
If so isn't this illegal to show this because you're teaching people how to hack police gun security?
>>129773384
so they spent a whole bunch of fucking time, effort, and money on implementing this feature that potentially slows the ability to use the weapon properly, and clearly does not inhibit anyone from using it in an unauthorized fashion
god bless the future and all of us inhabiting it

Who could have figured this out?
