I'll throw a couple guesses at this.

1) Piston and jet engines on the same aircraft? Thats not something I've seen before, really cool.

2) Look at all the white people. Look at what they can achieve when they dont have to worry about affirmative action and people are promoted based more on skill and competence instead of diversity.

3) That fancy aircraft was only in service for ten years. The B-52 that the US is using now has been in service for something like 70 years and it is expected to be used well into the 2040s.
WTF america? You guys used to make awesome new shit all the time.

4) That inspiring music, literally in the subtitles. (Inspiring music)
Its nice to hear a score that isnt sampled or BRRRRRRRAAAAAWWWWRWRRRMRMRMMRMRMMMMM!!!!!! Inception flavor of the month music.
Seems like every modern film today is trying to ape a Hanz Zimmer score.

I dunno OP. Just spill the beans.

The B-36 was a total clusterfuck, although I still love it. The B-52 has been in service since the 50s because it's pretty great at hauling a shitload of bombs for extended periods of time.

I dunno, let me take a stab at it-
>The might of the US Air Force
>The raw power of SAC
>The strength of American bombers under the command of General LeMay
>The tight well trained light crew going through proper procedure
>That feel when keeping the dirty commies in check and making the world a better, more free place.

Watch how White Men used to run their families and lives.

Movies pre-1970s are simply the greatest. The 60s started to get pretty bad, but there are gems from that decade too. Jimmy Stewart is a fucking legend.

>Stewart's family on both sides had deep military roots, as both grandfathers had fought in the Civil War,[10] and his father had served during both the Spanish–American War and World War I.
>He became the first major American movie star to wear a military uniform in World War II
>Stewart was one of the few Americans to ever rise from private to colonel in only four years during the Second World War.
>On one night flight with a student pilot, Stewart left the copilot’s seat to check on equipment in the nose and let a new navigator sit in the right-hand seat. Suddenly the no. 1 engine exploded, sending pieces of shrapnel into the cockpit and knocking the pilot senseless. With the engine on fire and wind tearing through the windows, the navigator froze at the controls. Stewart had to pull him out of the seat so he could take over, hit the fire extinguishers and land on three engines.
>After several weeks of training missions, in which Stewart flew with most of his combat crews, the group flew its first combat mission on December 13, 1943, to bomb the U-boat facilities at Kiel, Germany, followed three days later by a mission to Bremen. Stewart led the high squadron of the group formation on the first mission, and the entire group on the second
>On March 22, 1944, Stewart flew his 12th combat mission, leading the 2nd Bomb Wing in an attack on Berlin. On March 30, 1944, he was sent to RAF Old Buckenham to become group operations officer of the 453rd Bombardment Group, a new B-24 unit that had just lost both its commander and operations officer on missions.[50] To inspire the unit, Stewart flew as command pilot in the lead B-24 on several missions deep into Nazi-occupied Europe.
