Democracy blows. Look at what it did to this country.

A political party starts selling groups of people on voting your rights away, and voting for moar gibs from the public treasury, and it's all gone.

Don't get me wrong; I'm not a communist. America needs a Hitler, Franco, Salazar, Mussolini, or Pinochet right now, a right wing shitlord dictator. I would take authoritarianism with private property rights, capitalism, individualism, over a democratic socialist shithole where a plurality voted my rights and future away any day of the week.

Democracy works in very few places and even in the places where it officially exists it still does not represent the interests of the majority.

The only way it would work is if you divided China into a bunch of different countries.
