I wonder this because the more people gets access to information, the more the "6 millions" narrative starts seems to look doubtful.
For example, before the 80's the sole idea that Rudolf Höss confessed burning 3 million jews in the gas chambers of auschwitz ONLY because of torture, was blatantly labeled as a "antisemitic conspiracy theory".
