>People getting pissed over frogs croaking at night.
I live near a few swamps in New England. I love the sounds of the "peepers" at night. Californians are truly the worst kind of Americans. I cant think of any animal calls that I dislike, and how hard is it to block out a little noise at night? Get some fucking earplugs, play some white noise.

My nigga I always loved that sound it meant spring was here. They would always lull me to sleep

We always called them "cicadas" but I have no way of knowing how they managed to be out year-round, every year. I think the true cicada has a really long life-cycle, like, coming out every 17 years or something stupid like that.
Anyway, the sound of whatever they were, chirping all night. That was fuckin' go-to-sleep music. I miss North-west Florida.

Im getting way too old to still be living at home with my parents, but to have to leave a comfy rural area for a more densely populated one, with far less nature is a painful thought. Part of me wishes I went to school for forestry, but its too late for that shit now.

There are seasonal cicadas and the ones on the cycle
here in america, we hold the door open for both genders
God is a rain frog.
Why are Californians so primadonna? It's just some frogs making noise ffs. I grew up with bullfrogs croaking all over the place out in the pond by my house every night during summer months. Hearing bullfrogs croak during a warm summer night still puts me in maximum comfy mode to this day.

What's the problem? Holy shit, I love the sounds of frogs, especially in the spring. Frogs and crickets make beautiful song.s
