Is being a nurse shitty in Europe? Example of an ER nurse's day here would be meeting a new patient before the doctor, taking notes/vitals, administering medicine if ordered, starting an IV and taking blood for labs, assisting doctor with procedures, etc. CNAs (certified nursing assistants) do all of the shit work while the RNs are probably making $35-45 an hour. There's still a stigma for male nurses but it's going away.
