I've never left Brisbane since I came to Aus from England, when I was 12 at the start of '08.

Can't complain really, it's a nice place with a high white population density, especially in suburban and rural areas. Sure, you see a few asians, indians and africans but they mostly congregate in their own suburbs - if that's what you're after.

The weather's definitely tropical, and takes a while to acclimate to if you aren't used to burning alive after standing in the sun for 10 minutes.

Sure, it doesn't have the lavish history of other cities, but life's what you make of it, and it's a great place to pick up a trade or go to uni and work white collar.

Of all the cities in Aus, I'd say Bris has the best potential for development over the next 20 years.

Brisbane is a pretty nice all round city but the humidity might not suit everyone. Heard there's quite a large spread of industry and things are fairly affordable still for such a big city, lots of beautiful surrounding nature.

Sydney shits on Melbourne and is where a lot of the top corporate work is, but it's very segregated and expensive. Weather is pretty nice and mild though. If you want a big city feel then Sydney is where you should be.

Perth/Adelaide are GOAT if you have an Engineering/Science background and can get an industry/tradie job, fuck all in the way of corporate work though. Both are very dry areas and visually are quite different to live in if you're used to Sydney/Melbourne. Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane are a whole lot greener and look a lot more similar than Perth or Adelaide. Perth is very cyclical though and Adelaide isn't in a good place economically. Both fairly white though, Perth has way more men than women though while Adelaide has way more women than men.

Melbourne, Canberra and the Gold Coast are shit holes full of the worst people in Australia and are all cities who are behind other cities that do everything they do and more, better.

Darwin and Hobart are pretty cool, Newcastle is alright if you like beaches too.

Dont think one is better than another unless you are willing to sacrifice a chunk.
