Trump still can’t make up his mind whether his story is that

Trump still can’t make up his mind whether his story is that James Comey vindicated him during his testimony, or lied about him during his testimony. Trump’s argument seems to be ‘he vindicated me with lies.’ That nonsensical position has made it difficult for Trump’s team to defend him on the matter.

It makes sense.

- Comey vindicated him by telling the truth on the overall matter about Russia
- Comey lied about nature of their dinner

Comey even admitted he changed his official account of events because of the possibility of tapes and doesn't want to get indicted for perjury.

So he gave his opinion about taking something as an order.

It's pretty evident by now that Comey was fired by Trump because they simply don't get along and Trump didn't trust Comey.

Completely plausible that Comey was coordinating with the DNC to get Trump impeached.

- too chummy with Democrats on the Hill
- too much butt kissing back and forth during hearings, specially from DemocRATS.
- admitted to having a leaking system with the Washington Post and NY TImes through a friend.

Except the part where Trump admitted he was fired for his handling of the Russia Investigation.
You're jumping through a lot of logical loops for this opinion

He didn't trust Comey with the Russia investigation and may have suspected he was coordinating/colluding with House Dems to railroad him.

Comey even admits to orchestrating the creation of an Independent Counsel.

Comey sounded like he was plotting a coup d'etat.

How can you deny that Comey didn't make himself sound sinister?

The issue with what we're saying, is there is nothing substantiating it. Comey is a lifelong public servant and everyone he's ever worked with says he's honest to a fault. Please post some sort of proof for your wild theory about how Come was trying to "coup-de-ta" Trump. I'm legitimately interested

Let's recap...

- Trump and Comey don't get along
- Comey admits to being biased against Trump for political reasons.
- Chummy with Democrats in congress
- Admits to manipulating events to nudge Rosenstein into creating Independent Counsel.
- admits to leaks to the press to hurt Trump
- deems himself protector of government institutions/deep state
- admits to changing his "official story" because of possibility of Trump tapes

Stop "clergyfying" Comey. This is how you get pedophile rapist priests.

"Priest can't be a pedo. He's a lifelong public servant and servant to god. His entire congregation vouches for him."

Stop putting the dude on a pedestal and canonizing him. He's not a saint, a priest, person of the cloth.

He was a political appointment to run the FBI and a lawyer.

You haven't substantiated any of your claims.

It's turned into another US sit-com
It's all Trump knows
As long as he's in the spotlight, he's happy
Nothing's getting done
Time goes fast

Of course, they're substantiated. Just listen to his testimony and listen to Trump's own remarks.

Trump didn't trust Comey. Comey admits to doing shady stuff, made himself look sinister.

Who in their right mind wouldn't fire Comey after what he admitted to leaking information in retaliation?

Trump had been complaining about leaks since Day 1. Then we have the former head of the FBI admitting to being a leaker when he got pissed off at Trump.
