Next year are the Russian elections and Navalny has been causing a bit of a fuss. I have seen some of his videos, and from what I understand he is against corruption but I want to know what else does he stand for?

Is he a legit candidate? Is he CIA puppet? Is he Putin's puppet? Rus-anons and knowledgeable anons please enlighten.
>>
>>129501078
He is a centrist populist. He haven't yet shown any actual political leaning, because of the situation he is in. If someone tells you he "knows his ideology", it's not true. He haven't exposed it yet

Navalny is a political slut. People who say he's cetrist or independent or populist or nationalist or liberal or any label really purposely ignore the protests he has already led before.
He doesn't give a shit who comes to them. In his 2011-2012 protests, there were Russian imperialists, there were Nazbols, there were LGBT rights people, there were communists, there were "muh free market" liberals, there were people for more political variety, there were people specifically anti-United Russia, pretty much anyone who was unhappy with anything was welcome to come to these protests.
Now, one could build a strong case for these protests and Navalny as a whole being backed by the west in general, and Soros in particular. That argument would change nothing of who Navalny is, however, regardless whether it's true or not. Navalny has no political affiliation that he has made public. He would say anything that the crowd wanted to hear. Quite a few problems that he made veyr clear to be his priorities back in 2011, he no longer mentions at all these days.

Navalny is not a politician. He's not a career politician who's in it for the power and money, he's not an ideologue politician who's in it in order to instate his utopia into reality, he's not a public servant who wants to make life easier for his people.
Navalny is, at his core, a real-life blogger. He wants to be the point of attention, he wants to attract the "clicks" and "likes". Everything he does goes to that purpose, and nothing ever goes against it. He doesn't alienate groups whatsoever, he panders to everyone. Nobody lieks corruption, that's why he's against it. Nobody thinks having no alternative voice is good for the government or the people, that's why he's against it.
He's nothing, and he has no skill to wield power, or to even hold it.

He is a good guy. Lately he wrote a book in cooperation with our uber-Jew Adam Michnik. He is fascinated by our Solidarity Movement labour union that managed to accelerate process of the Soviet Union disintegration. He also considers Poland's economy as a role model for Russia, especially now in situation when they can't live from selling hydrocarbons anymore.

I recommend this book if you want to know a mental structure of this guy.

***********************

Alexei Navalny, Russian opposition firebrand, and Adam Michnik, Polish thinker and seasoned activist, take a walk in Red Square, Moscow, to talk about Poland's struggle for independence from the USSR, the collapse of the Soviet empire, and nothing less than the future of Russia. From dissidents to solidarity, Michnik talks animatedly about battling the 'salami' tactics of the old Polish communist regime. Step by step, beneath the Kremlin walls, Navalny is looking for parallels. How did a small group of opposition-minded Poles come to form a ten-million-strong political movement? 'Our strength lay in our solidarity,' says Michnik. Navalny knows what he's up against: 'Putin's main weapon is his ability to bribe the population.' But he also knows his fellow countrymen, for there is 'no one in the country who approves of palace-buying officials.' They pass by Lenin's tomb many times, searching for a way forward. When it's much easier to talk revolution than to actually make it happen, how do you breach the walls of the Kremlin? Here is a clarion call. The blueprint for a new Russia.

>>
>>129503178
> collaborating

WTF? They only wrote a book together. Navalny seems to be very into our Solidarity Movement. He probably tries to build something similar in Russia with one difference: our movement was based entirely on working class, while Navalny tries to use frustration of growing private-sector middle class in Russia and students. That's my impression. He would have very big problems with explaining anything to sovok-elders who blindly love Putin.

Navalny is anybody but a real ideological politician. Just recently in an interview to "Dozhd" channel, he was asked on the matter of Crimea - he didn't reply. His political program looks a lot like toasts before drinking. I would assume, that even Karl Pilkington wouldn't support him, provided that he's a Russian citizen(no offense, Karl).

He's a shitty politician and will never win landslide!
>>129506112
Only 1-1.5% of Russian population seem to understand that corruption is bad. A majority of those who say that it is, in fact would bribe and take bribes if offered. In some regions corruption has became a custom for all.

If Medvedev will go to 2018 election, I would give him my vote without second thought. Best Russian President EVER.

He literally stated that crimea sticks to us like a massive chunk of shit, and even if we run another referendum (basically giving toilet paper to wipe shit out) the shit won't be gone.

Navalny is a graduade of the Yale World Fellows program

It's a program for "emerging global leaders" created by Maurice R. Greenberg.

Maurice R. Greenberg is a vice chairman and director of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a member of David Rockefeller's Trilateral Commission.

There is no need for referendum. Crimea is Russian and was always Russian. It was won by Russian blood and it was settled by Russians.
Only reason it ever ended up as a part of a sad joke called ''Ukraine'' is a communist decision. Communists did not represent Russian people and thus they had no right to give it away to anyone.
Same ''Ukrainians'' cry about communists but support them in this case. Talk about principles.

Bernies biggest mistake was running under the democratic flag, the same with Trump too. These two should have ran 3rd party, yes they might have lost anyways, but it would have been a start, fast pain is the best pain I say. They would have lost and in 2020 we could have gotten someone who wasn't part of any of those two.

Trump won because the left forgot about the white class worker in some of those blue states, and basically alienated them with identity politics, im sure they will not dare do that again unless they want to lose again. They thought the mexican voters and blacks would all vote in a bloc, but that's not the case, especially hispanics.

Navalny is an FSB plant. He attacked Medvedev which gives Putin an excuse to remove the government and replace it with more overt FSB loyalists and vatnik hardliners, nobody fucking even liked Medvedev the Vatniks will all cheer when he is sacked. The Kremlin is controlled by two factions of corrupt FSB deep state faggots on one side and corrupt neo liberal kike faggots on the other side one wants North Korea Soviet tier control and the other wants to do business and get rich. Putin began to lean on the FSB faction more after Crimea.

Nothing in Russia gets done without the fucking deep state once Putin outlives his PR usefulness and becomes old and senile like Brezhnev he will be replaced by a pre-vetted FSB selected faggot who will be "democratically" elected. Maybe Navalny is that guy and they are grooming him for this he is a populist who stands for nothing and aims to please every possible shill including liberals nationalists, vatniks etc he is a Yeltsin

NAvalny is a populist fag who can't answer any serious questions because if he does the mainstream vatnik beer drinking population he is trying to court will turn on his ass.

He says he doesn't like Chechnya for various reasons, most of the population doesn't like Chechnya so what is to be done with Chechnya Navalny fag? Well he never says that part because he doesn't know or care. Reform Chechnya Remove KAdyrov ehwn it's a medieval society that likes Sharia law. Kick Chechnya out of the federation? Well they tried that in the 90's Saudi money and mercenaries poured in and they counter-attacked further into Russia after solidfying in Chechnya, and once Chechnya is independant that sets a direct president for every republic to get the fuck out some would win from being independent and some would win form being autonomous which is what Putin fought against his entire career. Even if Navalny is put in power (by an oligarch FSB consensus there is no way he will ever get enough actual support he will act just as Putin acts with a few cosmetic changes here and there

What you need to understand about Navalny supporters: they have a motivation that differs from that of average Russians, because they are more atomized individuals who are dissociated from their nation.

Most people are at least somewhat emotionally invested in their country. I am, for example, not a blind patriot but I still see Russia as a valuable project that I am a part of and that I want to succeed, even if it doesn't bring me any obvious material gain here and now.

Navalny supporters - not so. Some of them will deny it, some won't but the fact is - their approach to a country is purely consumerist. What they want is an environment that provides maximum comfort for them as individuals. It doesn't matter to them if it will be Russia or some other country.

In fact, material gain is for them a perfectly legitimate cause for treason. Because they don't see themselves owing Russia any kind of special allegiance. They are "citizens of the world".

You are correct.
The blackpill is that Russia has no political system at all.
There's elitist establishment controlled opposition that's it.
There's no real opposing force or a serious populist movement.

Even if you're lying about Navalny he still is very weak and supported by a tiny minority.

Zhirinovsky and the rest are Putin's favorite puppets pretending to be opposing him, but doing the dirtiest work and passing the worst laws so he wouldn't have to get his hands dirty.

Why is it so?
Because any actual political movement gets supressed before people even hear about it.

While the average Russian lives like shit. Corruption under Putin has gone too far.

Best case scenario for big cities - Ukraine. For smaller - evacuation.

The Russian people aren't that fucking great. In fact they are quite shitty. Russia is not shit because of corruption or because of the government. IT's shit for very objective reasons it's a tundra shithole with abnormal infustructure and transportation costs with cities that were built by a retarded Czarist settler programme or a bolshevik social experimentation programme with one retarded non-competitive manufacturing plant in the middle of nowhere spawning a city around it which produces fucking nothing of value. I think most russians dont realise thay changing a leader or elite wont you magically live better. You are loser country in the current world due to geographical reasons and nothing more. With all that landmass you still dont have an acess to a warm water port bar Sevastopol which is still in the black sea and the only strait is controled by a NATO ally same with the baltic sea while the east is heavily contested by multiple nations. The only way you can change your shitty situation is actually have geopolitical victories and get more clay, you are doomed to have this fate. Your climate doesnt allow for good transportation of goods even if you are the most convenient and safest transit from the east to west but your winters and high maintainance of roads that go to shit really quickly make it impossible, even though the current sea routes are becoming more dangerous and go through unstable countries. If you want to improve your economy increasing influence in the middle east and central asia is a must even though you get spammed by churkas there is a price to pay. Almost forgot as Brzeshiski said without Ukraine you arent a power due to the fact that ukranian rivers dont freeze up and have a relatively good climate while also having great land to grow shit like crops, which most of the other parts of russian can do except the south. You wont change jack shit about your country without changing your geographical defect.

Russia is a disgusting country. Its infrastructure is probably most wasted in the world, people live in filthy commieblocks with 30 floors or in wooden glubinka-hats. The retard says that Russia doesn't have anything to offer but natural res, but he's "forgetting" to mention why is that. And that is because since the prosperous years of high oil there hasn't been any attempt at rebuilding industry, business or anything.
Now we only have resources, grossly bloated service sector of a country and corruption on top of it.
>>
>>129520467
If by refining you mean like making machines from steel and exporting them - it's because no one wants our machines, the market is divided between Western companies who have established production methods that guarantee quality and use cheap Asian labor to make their products affordable.

We compete successfully on only a few areas - defense, space, nuclear, etc.
>>
>>129520467
Because putins friends already have distribution channels in place. They privatize some raw material facilities, then sell these raw materials for super cheap to their friends firm in Gibraltar or simmilar. (to avoid paying taxes). Tehn they sell from there to the nations that need these raw materials at market value and keep these profits, then spend it on expensive houses and yachts while paying the factory workers miserable wages because they havo no other option for employment because not enough money is coming in to build a real industry because everything is owned by putins circle and no incentive for these oligarchs to change their ways.

Russia won't "make anything decently" because we opened our markets and our products can't compete with imported goods. This won't change because the logic of the free market dictates that people will buy foreign goods, and trying to compete with them is economic suicide for private companies. This can only be changed by government intervention and setting barriers to foreign exports, but it won't happen because our government are good little neoliberal drones.
