Franco did more for Spain than any leader from the last century did for my country. And why do people hate him? Because he revolted against a weak regime? Lefties normally worship people who do that, so that can't be it. Because he executed known commies? Death tolls were never great, even while commies and Nazis were killing people by the millions, so that can't it. Or is it because he was a dictators? No, lefties worship violent dictators so much they print shirts with their pictures on them.

So it's literally only his politics. It's that he isn't one of them. And if that's how we're rolling, I guess he must be a decent guy, then.
