When I was younger, a friend of mine had a father like that. I'd have to sit and wait for my friend to do chores after school before coming out to play because his dad would got batshit if they weren't done on time. Since I was in the military I can kind of see why they think this way. Things run a certain way, and if someone doesn't do their job you rage out because you're fucking up the system. Combine that with being in for a decade and feeling like a big man because you can boss around a bunch of 18 year old scared kids away from home for the first time leads to disaster when you get out. Then combine ALL OF THAT with the fact that social media fills their heads with the idea that their opinion has more weight than anyone else, they tend to walk around thinking they can just treat everyday civilian interactions like they're still in the military. Was at the NYC "March Against Sharia" event yesterday.

I climbed up on top of a phone booth to wave an american flag at the counter-protesters across the street.

Knew it was against the rules and a cop would probably tell me to get down, but to my surprise the cops just kind of watched, some of them even smiled. The crowd on our side was cheering me. Seemed to raise our sides spirits.

Suddenly a ~60+ year old "Oath Keeper" comes running up screaming at me to get down. I said "you're not a cop, no" and went back to waving my flag. He grabs my leg and tries to (feebly) pull me down, which, had he succeeded would have seriously injured me.

Eventually a cop comes and calmly tells me to get down. I say "Yes, sir" and do. Old Oath guy gets in my face about how I'm going to get all of them and the protest in trouble, and I have to obey his commands, all in a raging voice. I get triggered and yell in his face to fuck off. A whole gang of Oathfags run up and start staring me down, surrounding me. They tell me I will follow their order or leave. I say "Make me." Some guy on the periphery says "hey, we're all on the same side. Let's not fight." and essentially deescalates the situation.

Oath Keepers are on a MASSIVE POWER TRIP, believe they are cops, and if I hadn't been a huge, tattooed guy challenging them and ready to fight I am willing to bet they would have assaulted me like the Autismo in the OP.

I just realized something important about the oathkeepers. White they portray themselves as being against totalitarianism and for freedom and the rule of law, they miss the bigger picture.

They obviously have a "civic nationalist" mindset and are no different from the leftists culturally. They are proof that the left won the culture war. The young man that was assaulted is the future, he might be seen as radical or an outcast but he's the one with new ideas to be spread. The oathkeepers are fighting for a dead culture and idealism that doesn't work, clinging to ideas without any roots, there is no impetus in their movement- no reason for them to continue existing. The tea party fell apart as there was nothing binding them together except ideas. But ideas come from people and people express ideas to create a common culture, disparate people can't have a culture.

The mexican in the video is masquerading as a civic nationalist while being pro-mexican and anti-white. The oathkeeper logo lets him carry around his gun without looking pro-freedom but in fact he isn't. Had the white oathkeepers not been there, the mexican would have choked out or killed the young man because that's what he really wants to do- defeat whites. The accusations of "nazi" only reinforce the plain truth- the leftist mindset is pervasively normal and the oathkeepers are a dead organization already.

America has a pretty big militia movement that started in the 90's after the feds murdered civilians in a series of high profile incidents. Most of these militias are just loose groups of friends, gun clubs, preppers etc who thought the government was out of control and was becoming tyrannical. The feds did their best to infiltrate them, spread paranoia and set them up for crimes.

Many of these militias are still around, and Americans have been buying more guns and ammo than ever before. Anybody with two brain cells to rub together keeps it on the down low however. These Oathkeeper types are basically just self righteous drama queens, nobody takes them seriously.

I don't think Europeans understand just how well armed Americans are. Our nationalist movement is far behind yours (though the alt right is quickly changing that). You guys have been building nationalist movements for years, but Americans have been stockpiling. It's a cultural difference I think. When Americans begin to mistrust the government, our minds jump straight to thinking about revolution.

That's also why we haven't seen much street action until recently, while you guys have been fighting antifa for years. Everybody knows that escalation to physical violence brings a possibility of a gun fight.

Antifa can run rampant in europe because people don't have guns or the right to defend themselves. Pepper spray is illegal in places like denmark and the police are worthless. Antifa tried to wreak havoc on inauguration day and ended up in jail. American police and citizens don't play games by antifa's rules and that's the main reason antifa has been able to spread in europe but not in america.
