People don't realise this, but Hitler was comparatively moderate. I'm sure he locked down the borders and imposed tariffs, but he also funded youth club subsidies, local food production and public transport, which are all somewhat arguably lefty.

Recently these threads have attracted "intellectuals", and some of them have been won over to our side. Unfortunately, these sort of people hurt us rather than help us. Every time they put their finger on the keyboard, paragraph upon paragraph of nonsense is spewed, even if we do largely agree with it.
Because we agree with the gist of it, we often overlook the harm the writer of it is actually inflicting. As the longwindedness of the post increases, as do the argumentative holes. Odds are most people take one look at it and not just see one fault but a paragraph of faults. If called out, the usual response is more of the same and total arrogance.

Let Dr. Hoppe serve as an shining example of how to convey your ideas and arguments intelligently WITHOUT going around in circles and being self-inflated intellectual. In his words, they are "the producers of words".

But if no one helps the poor then they'll be dragged along, there's no questioning poor people are more likely to commit crime and need to consume social programs. It's usually helpful if poor people have less authoritarian means of getting help, which usually isn't money.

And yeah, I honestly think a good portion of the human population actually wouldn't offer charity to their family members, either because they're not in a position to or because that's unexpected in their family. Some families are so cold and distant to one another.

In some ways the fascists can be right, but only in their insistence that the state begins with the family unit and then the community, nation, etc. For instance, if shelter was something easily expected from people's families, then there would be zero reason to have state housing.

I'd like to address this point. The welfare state stands at ends with traditional values and culture. With it's abolishment, the world will return to the natural and efficient structures of family, kin, church, community etc. which will promote the family again.

So what do you guys think, is libertraianism the way to go in a society with a forced unemployment rate of 80% due to automatition, where technically nobody has to work to achieve a high standard of living?

Quick but serious question: Is it still conform with libertarian ideals while i'm in the military (not for a lifetime, only for mere two years as a volunteer) to call myself a libertarian. I want to get out of there when I'm done serving and stop being dependent on the state. I only joined to get some personal skills and to get /fit/ and not because of the money.

Am I a hypocrite?

I want the government to exist but the best government would be a completely separate entity from the people. The only thing they must do is impose a tax to be able to function. With this tax, they will support an armed force for sovereignty and a peacekeeping force for domestic security, those being the Armed Forces and the police respectively.

There shouldn't be any government service aside from that. People get complete freedom with minimal government while having a sovereign nation. Like a nightwatch state. No government subsidies and shit like that, no government policy and shit like that. No social programs like welfare, or schools. All social programs should be handled by private ownership.

Whatever this nightwatch government's system is, I don't care as long as they stay away from the private lives of their people.

A harmonious reconciliation between libertarianism and statism - a country of free people with a powerful protector.
