What are some books /pol/ would recommend for economics, world history (particularly Europe and Asia), and American history?

Ab Vrbe Condita
Titus Livius
>Don't study your mentors; study your mentor's mentors.
Enoch Powell had a life-long obsession with Thucydides and Herodotus, so you could start there. His interest in economics also first started when he read Malthus.
Dostoyevsky

/pol/ shouldn't read as much "black pill" literature as it does. All it does is breed resentment and inculcate a feeling of despair and defeat.

Did you read it? It depends on how you interpret it, it's not really a black pill book per se
Read 'The Invisible Hand' and 'Capitalism and Freedom'. Would recommend to anyone is has an entry level understanding economics and how it works in relation to society.
The books contain every single argument to why socialism, federal funding and big government don't work.
Started reading more by Adam Smith, but don't find a lot of time to read. Anyone have advice on how to get more reading done?

Be more aware of how you spend your time, or, more precisely, how much of it you waste. I installed some time tracking addon in my browser and found i spend up to five hours daily browsing, usually without an actual purpose. You have but a limited time at your disposal at any given day. Being aware of this and reminding yourself of it makes you want to spend it being productive, like working out, or being social, or reading instead of mindlessly staring into your screen an refreshing the catalog over and over.

it is a black pill book, but it has nothing to do with mudslimes and also nothing to do with race
to understand it you'd need to be very fluent in a lot of subjects, and also very good at the german language
Many of Red Pine's translations. His book on poems by the hermit Stonehouse is a good read.
Also, The Anabasis of Alexander.
