It depends on where you are and what sort of gun it is
You can freely carry a rifle or shotgun in the country so long as you legally own it, you would get very strange looks and a nice chat with the PSNI if you were to carry one openly in a town

Pistols can only be carried in public by civilians if they have been licensed specifically for self defence, if you own it for any other reason you can't carry it around with you, only supposed to have it in public when transporting it to the range and then it has to be properly secured

There is no way out for torycucks. If she stays for 5 years, this will be remembered as the most ineffective government. Corbyn wins. If she gets ousted in October, the next Tory leader will have to call for another snap election because they will need a new manifesto, 2 early election will just diminish the Conservative vote share. Corbyn wins.

Has 70% youth turnout even been confirmed yet? I'm still pretty sure it was the UKIP voters that swung the surge. Either way the Tories now have two years post-Brexit to get their house in order and sort out a good response and opposition (rather than letting Shariah May do it all because it's her turn) whereas Corbyn's basically offered everything he has to offer and it still wasn't enough, so if the Cons play it right it's an easy win. That being said the same was true of this election, and they bollocksed that right up, so who knows.

She is a fucking moron seriously. She's the worst PM we've had, hands down. It would be hilarious if there was not so many people affected by it.

The UK has 4 kingdoms (England, Wales, Scotland, NI)
Wales, Scotland, and NI have parties that really only run in those kingdoms as they are for specific issues to those kingdoms.
Wales and Scotland parties who are unique to the area (namely the SNP and the Plaid Cymru in wales) are parties that at some point want to take there kingdom out the UK.

Northern Ireland politics are unique. Due to sectarian strife called the troubles, it has suffocated out the normal parties (In Scotland and England the national parties run and win seats) so it just a collection of 2-3 Republican parties (who want to join NI to the Republic of Ireland) and Unionist parties who want to keep NI part of the UK.

This election, the moderate parties lost all there seats so you have the IRA party and the most hardcore Calvinist party, and the Tory's need the Hardcore Calvinists for a majority.

Thus you are not going to see the IRA party outside of NI, or the republic (and Boston). And you are not going to see the likes of the DUP outside of NI as they are crazy fucking Calvinists that are more right wing then the Apartheid parties of South Africa.

She filled in for Cameron after he resigned and so not only did she have the disadvantage of only being able to use Camerons remaining term years, she didn't have the credibility of being naturally voted in. She didn't want the long term resentment of that building up and being used to undermine her and the Tories as she tried to tackle the Brexit in a reduced time frame. As the Brexit unfolds people will seek to blame any negative shifts it causes on her. As an 'illegitimate' PM these attacks would have a 2x multiplier. In turn this would have created a lot of room for people to turn on the Tories when the next election comes up.
As it stands she has managed to write off the Cameron time she's used up and start her own turn from the beggining. Now she's legit, she has a full 5 years ahead, and when the next election comes up the Tories have an improved chance of carrying on.

It was the best move for the country as we approach the defining event of the next 100 years. It is true that attending the debate and doing more campaigning would be good, but it is also true that she was already PM and she was actually very busy preparing the Brexit.

She has shown responsibility and strength. She did do what's best for everyone. In comparison, Labours illegitimate Gordon 'THINGS' Brown, said he would call an election and then didn't, where May said she wouldn't and did, which is an up step. The Tories can now rub two female PMs in the face of Labour, both of which have shown more mettle than the majority of Labour leaders.

Right, so all this hyping up the DUP is meaningless because ultimately the UK is going to be dominated mainly by Labor or the Tories, both of which want to turn the UK into a caliphate.
Maybe Brits are just ecstatic to find they an actual conservative party in their pathetic union.
>>
>>129337318
>>129337982
The Tories have sold out by becoming socially liberal in the last 20 years in order to be more electable, rather than stand up for principled conservative moral values such as opposing baby murder. The DUP still have morals, and this greatly upsets the politically correct liberal elite, who are greatly intolerant of anyone who doesn't agree with their full speed ahead approach to faggotry

It's part of the culture. These were put up when Northern Ireland was pretty much in a state of perpetual warfare for nearly 40 years. Some of them came after but the local communities were seriously banded together and these things weren't condemned. Afterwards they've stayed on as a memory of what was a harrowing time in most Northern Irish people's lives

I went up to Belfast recently actually and went down the fall's road which is the republican half of the city, separated from the Unionist Shankhill side. The murals are everywhere, as is the tricolour which was nice to see. I'm quite happy to stay away from the Shankhill side though, although I would like to see what it looks like.

Well since you are a fellow burger and don't understand how it works - May, the prime minister, cannot govern without a majority on key bills.

She depending on the DUP to supply the needed votes so she does not get out of power.

Thus, the DUP, even if it a small party, will have a fair amount of say on the matter.

They are acting like adults so it appears instead of demanding unrestricted marching seasons and banning gay marriage in the UK, they just want to make sure NI gets gibs and they have a seat in the Brexit talks.

20 years work is a reference to the good friday agreement, which will turn 20 years old next year, it is the basis for the power sharing agreement that has stabilised NI and allowed it to become a normal and fairly nice place to live

The GFA is predicated on the Irish and British governments being unbiased and dealing with each side fairly, if the British government is dependent on the DUP to maintain power it cannot be impartial, therefore proper power sharing becomes near impossible

They won't force the conservatives to pass legislation on the mainland, what they get out of propping them up is more money for NI (the DUP are somewhat infamous for porkbarrel politics) and some of the pressure to reform the power sharing assembly, which would mean confronting the RHI scandal will be taken away

The DUP-Tory coalition, if it lasts more than a few months will do four things
