I think we know the identity of the self-described 'geniuses' who schemed the jobs and manufacturing to asia plan. For such geniuses, they can't see further than their big noses
So, their rip-off retail and their high-rent commercial premises are taking a hit. People aren't spending because they don't have work
Sooner or later, the self-professed geniuses will see what the rest of us knew from the start when they imposed the Lima Declaration and sent the jobs to asia
So now those same 'geniuses' are going to have to persuade manufacturers to base their factories in the west again. But after decades of paying peanuts to Asians, those manufacturers are going to balk. They don't want to pay living wages to westerners
So ok, geniuses, work it out, you're so smart with your bottom-line philosophies ... watch your commercial premises turn into blacked out malls and see your retail remain empty, or bring the jobs back to the west. In the meantime I'm glad you bastards are hurting

In the past, the unemployed of today worked in factories making home appliances, cars, steel roofing, etc. They were the backbone of the economy. Since the collapse of the west, the geniuses have been selling university as a good investment in the future. And that's been proved a lie also. People with degrees are using them for toilet paper because that's all they're worth
Now is the impasse ... to employ westerners so that they'll be able to spend again. Or leave the jobs and manufacturers in asia and watch the billionaires go bankrupt one by one
The answer to the dilemma at the moment and as is usual for the US, is to create some wars for profit. But the world's getting real sick of that too

Put a trillion dollars into the hands of the people, instead of bailing out banks. The fed has a vice grip on the economy. There is way too much wealth concentrated at the top. Cut the corporate tax to 10%, any small business under a certain size pays no taxes, after that its slowly tiered so it doesn't act as a cap on a businesses size.
Stop importing 3rd world shit skins, they dilute the work force and wages.
No more h1b1 visas. Plenty of americans exist to fill those jobs. The whole "we can't find anyone, so we need it" is a weak bullshit excuse, they want to pay less.
Gut the epa. Fucking gut it.
Reduce its roll and make it so it mostly regulates chemical factories and other high risk large pollutant sources.
Cut down on regulations. Every year congress passes 200k pages of regulations. Most they never wrote or read. Cut the regulations in half. Thats a start.
Do these things and business will boom, top but most importantly bottom as well. Small and medium sized business create the most jobs and increase quality of life more than megacorps.
