socialist healthcare is incredibly expensive, looking from outside the NHS may seem like a great system but it's incredibly inefficient and requires a monumental amount of money just to keep running. not to mention the service is pretty shit in most areas.

so, why do you need insurance? do you think a doctor should work for free?

You absolutely do not. You just have to have cash if you don't have insurance. See, in America, people get paid to work, instead of drinking directly from the government's teat. You either pay in cash or some insurer pays for you through insurance claims.
