It's a good concept but this is the earliest stage of development and I sure as shit won't trust it until it has a few decades of guinea pig testers. It'll probably not be ownable by plebs for a long time anyway. It also needs a parachute for one thing, and a longer battery life, and I don't see why the fuck I can't fly it instead of a goddamn robot controlling it.

A plane won't fall straight down of the engines cut out. It glides so you still have the chance to make an emergency landing, so a parachute is less necessary. This thing crashing would be more like a helicopter crash which are devastating.

Come to think of it a VTOL system would be far more efficient and safer. The engineers who designed this are literally retarded for not realizing that. VTOL can take off in confined space like a helicopter, yet can have gliding capabilities like a plane, instead of having to constantly fight gravity like a helicopter. It would make the device move a lot faster more easily too, all of which save shit tons of energy and that means longer battery life.
