What books are you reading /pol/? I'm currently finishing up pic related. I usually don't read fiction but I am beyond happy I read these books. The only other fictional series I inted to read is Dune, but I a, putting that off into the uncertain future so I can get back to books I can learn from. I think I will start reading Ride the Tiger once I'm done with a DwD. I have discovered National Socialism and intend to learn and absorb as much as I can about it. What does your book schedule look like?
>>
>>129273741
it looks better than your course schedule next year you fucking under age b&
>>
Storm of Steel, by Ernst Junger.
>>
>>129273873
as if children could read that series lololol.
I alsointend to read the two books after Dante's Inferno, as well as all of Scott Adam's and Trump's books. You like those better?

>Storm of Steel
sounds intresting after a google search. I'm adding it to the queue. Can you tell me how you're liking it so far?

If you liked ASOIAF, then you'll certainly like James A. Corey's "The Expanse" series. It's a good read. I'm sure someone from /lit/ will recommend Blood Meridian. That's another classic.

Right now, I'm reading "Kraken". And moving onto "The Stormlight Archive" series after that.

>Can you tell me how you're liking it so far?

It is very good. It shows the dangers and unpleasant parts of continual trench warfare and it is very well written.
>>
>>129274347
I don't rally read fiction though. IMO aSoiaF is better than LotR. GRRM created a legendary piece of literature with this. It's a uniquely incredible series. Yeah I can "learn" from other series but I'd much prefer non-fiction. Have you read any good NF lately?

Anyone ever read Louis l'amour books? My dad really likes those, how are they?

Tv series already turned to a muh refugees storyline.

Read The Road by Cormac McCarthy

Nation of Islam hates Jews more than /pol/. Black supremacists.

I haven't read past aSoS. Waiting for tWoW to come out to read through aFfC and aDwD

> IMO aSoiaF is better than LotR

LotR is much better written. GRRM writes with a more simplistic brutal twinge that causes me to prefer Tolkien over him.

As for non-fiction. I read most books pertaining to sales and business. So you might not like my recommendations in that area. Some less business oriented recommendations I could make would be "Meditations" by the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius and "On War" by Clausewitz.

>>129275199
I'm not talking about the TV show. But I didn't know there was one. Who produces it?

And all of human civilization is practically "muh refugees" at the later point of the series. I just liked the world the two authors established. Shitty that Earth is filled with brown people who are all essentially on welfare. But that's what we're pretty much heading to anyway.

Enjoy reading about cocks OP, perhaps you should try this author next.

I had this fun idea: read aFfC and aDwD side by side. See how cool that might be.

Just finished "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms"

Good read, good illustrations, wish G.R.R. Martin would hurry up and write more.
>>
>>129275648
A canadian production (which usually means garbage), but some remarkable fun scifi scenes. The tv series is about two books in, and they wedged in a lot of (suffering refugees) crap that just wasn't present in the book at all.

Currently reading Robots of Dawn by Asimov. Ironically the globalists in it are the equivalent of nationalists. Earth still hates automation though
>>
>>129277106
I re-reading the Foundation novels atm. His short stories are amazing too.
Ever read Brandon Sanderson? Currently my favorite author.

He finished up the Wheel of Time when Jordan died, that's how I heard of him. His books were better than the original authors. Read Mistborn, and since then I've read everything he's written.
Azimov has been one of my favorites since I was a kid, though. He worked R. Daneel Olivaw in to just about every novel/series he wrote, which was kind of fun.

>>129277898
Alright. I'll give him a look. I haven't read wheel of Time but I've heard he (didn't know that it was Sanderson) did good job finishing things up after Jordan died. I'm gonna try to read robots and empire first though. The robot series has been good
>>
Camp of the Saints

>>129278656
Azimov is one of the greats, don't skip a book. He wrote a bunch of short stories for the old sci-fi magazines and some non-fiction analyzing space and the history of the Bible (he was an atheist, so it's mostly about the history and politics of the region).
I hope you like Sanderson, too. He's young, so I know there will be a lot more books coming from him. His WoT books were actually better than Jordan's. If you want classic fantasy, read Eddings, not Jordan. It's a tedious series.
>>129278797
Without a doubt one of the best books I've ever read.
