I can't find the screenshot now, but a /pol/ack made a post a week ago explaining how the imam is actually a right wing ex muslim who is covertly destroying the image of Islam in the west from inside. He has already made gigantic waves by saying that islam teaches violence and that a muslim ban is a good thing (!).

It only happens less because there are a lot less shia. If the numbers were equal shia terrorist attacks in the west would happen at the same rate if not more. This stuff is an issue for the muslim community as a whole, not just one sect.
