I don't know what he had to do with 4chan, but he's been on MyPostingCareer and various other sites (livejournal) for a very long time and yea he is definitely central to internet troll culture. he's definitely a hacker but his specialty isn't technical as much as it is information warfare and cybercrime type stuff. like, you don't need to be a professional programmer or have a CS degree to come up with botnet schemes. i have no idea what kind of hacking weev does these days, except i've heard rumors that he was involved in the Macron email leaks.
