Yeah, how about Human Beings against Driving, drunk or otherwise? Cars suck, they've destroyed the landscape and turned it into one coast-to-coast infrastructural prison, obliterated what once was a living face-to-face community where people actually knew each other and didn't merely drift through a sea of infinite strangers, alienate everyone inside their own tiny patch of square earth where everything has been sequested away from the common wealth and turned into "danger zones" where humans cannot inhabit because you might get fucking run over by a giant steel machine, children have nowhere to play besides their front lawns or backyards (they used to have the whole surrounding community), and to say nothing of the constant humm of traffic traffic that has become ubiquitous and obliterated real natural silence which is amazing if you've ever heard it deep in the woods at night, obliterated the ability to see the sky anymore thanks to lights lighting up parking lots and highways and shopping centers and whatever the hell else, polluting the atmosphere, and nobody really seems to care about roadkill which accounts for over 20 million incidents per year in the U.S. alone, but we've all long since adopted this weird notion that "animals don't really matter we can kill as many as we want", and then of course you've got your nightmare situations that suddenly jump into people's lives where their loved one dies horrifically in a traffic accident and you have nothing to rage against and god gives no quarter or rhyme or reason for it because you're still not willing to accept that maybe roads and automobiles and their DMVs and their Police Faggots and huge ass traffic fines and traffic jams and all the hell that goes along with this mess is has at its core this notion that "getting there quicker makes life better" well what if everything we needed wasn't more than a hundred meters from our homes? What if the landscape was beautiful and natural and garden-like and therefore actually worth taking the time to notice and enjoy, slowly, at walking pace? What if you knew the names and faces of all the people who lived near you? Why is it necessary that we get everywhere quickly? Isn't because there is nothing to see anymore, besides billboards and parking lots and traffic lights and cars and shopping malls and laundromats and just a bunch of concrete plastic bullshit? Have you even as a thought experiment wondered what it would be like to be homeless in an outdoor environment which caters to automobiles over human beings? To function and expediency over beauty and nature? It turns the world into a machine where humans aren't allowed. It kills people in the hundreds of thousands, and animals by the tens of millions. It pollutes, it obliterates the community, rips all the living social networks veins out, cuts us all off from each other with its concrete no-human zones that proliferate like a virus weed over the landscape. I. Hate. Cars.
