Good to be self aware. It's comforting to pretend that the US has a monopoly on idiocy. I've encountered some profoundly inept and ignorant people from all over the globe. One recurring assertion is that NYC is the capital, and it's in Los Angeles. They describe LA (geographically), call it NYC, and say it's the capital. Another I keep hearing time and time again is that there are 52 states. I've heard people tell me there's no snow in the US, as if the entire country is Miami. I've heard Chinese people tell me that Norway is the North Pole, and it's too dangerous to visit because polar bears roam all the streets. I frequently hear from Europeans that they don't know the locations of any US cities. You show them a map, and they have no clue how to locate NYC, DC, LA, Miami, Chicago - not even in a vague, general sense. That also extends beyond the US into South America. They have an extremely limited knowledge of this region. And these are well-to-do, friendly, educated, and productive members of society.

With that said I am in no way a Crobyn supporter. Or a politics supporter. As far as im concerned they are all the same and are arguing trivialities. There is only one party that exists in all our countries and they want to lead us to the new world order.
