i'm sure the sunni shia conflict has something to do with this, but this recent chain of events appears to be more along the lines of the muslim brotherhood vs some other polarity(ies) in the muslim world.
the coup in egypt a few years ago in egypt was lead by the muslim brotherhood, and eventually the army had to stage a counter coup to remove the MB president, morsi.
i wonder if saudi arabia fears a similar coup happening to them and decided to act, or was it prodding from trump during his recent visit.

Is there any precedent for military action yet?

So, rebels in Syria are funded by KSA and Qatar, supported by Turkey, opposed by Iran and their proxies, Qatar ends up paying both Sunni and Shia militants and gets Isolated but at the same time Turkey supports them alongside Iran even though they're fighting in Syria, now there is some sort of Moscow-Teheran-Ankara alliance even though Turkey is in NATO oh and the MB is somehow active in Turkey even though most of them were executed in Egypt can someone tell me what the fuck is actually happening?
