The reason you clean your room is because you have to start bulding your competence in controlling your own life on the micro level. Just like you wouldn't load 300lbs on the bar for a beginner lifter, you can't expect people to be able to puick up the pieces of their life in one day. Small steps.

Also, start lifting. It gives you a meal and overall day routine. It also boosts your test levels, ups your confidence, makes you look better and makes you feel better overall.

Are you really interested in why? Even when I was in college, a decade ago, it was drenched in marx. That was the perspective that was dominant.
