Honestly, he was amicable and had a pleasant personality and I'd gladly have a beer with the guy. that said your used car sales man analogy is spot on, when I talked to him I think he assumed I was some far left academic due to my university's reputation. So when talking to him, it was clear he was doing his best to make white nationalism seem socially palatable, he'd dress WN rhetoric in this weird scholarly quasi-liberal veneer, much like Jared Taylor does but far more disingenuous. I also got the feeling a lot of interests were lucrative and status-seeking rather than exclusively in maintaining the white race, but thats just my personal unfounded hunch.
