I've long maintained it was regrettable that in burning and destroying everything that could help the Southern traitors, Sherman didn't first lock all of the slaveholders and their families inside their dwellings before putting them to the torch.

He had a clear shot to take DC and win the war at Gettysburg, though I don't really blame him for that as he had know idea what the position of the union army was. What really makes me angry though is if the cuck hadn't surrendered at Appomattox l
lincoln would've gotten assassinated, then Andrew Johnson who was very pro-south would've become President and as soon as Union support began to dwindle he would've made peace.
