He is right, i came to this realization after a 300+ microgram LSD trip. I spent the next months trying to integrate what I learned. During this time I had a few run ins with greys, demons and different "gatekeepers" in lucid states who were trying to keep me from this knowledge.

I'd wager that anything with the most basic brain chemistry (simple antennae) will pick up the consciousness signal. Hell maybe anything with electrical signals is conscious (plants, mushrooms, ceiling fans).
