I'm curious as to what their capabilities are. Turkey has the largest army out of the 3 but the other 2 have the most advance weaponry. I'm curious if the Houthi's will take advantage of Saudi while they are distracted.

This situation is confusing as shit.
First Iran blames the Saudis and now Turkey wants to join in on the fun.

What really activates my almonds is, who the fuck is the rest of the world going to be supporting?
That entire region has some fuckmassive investments abroad and I'm sure that all major players would want to secure the future cash flow from these places.
But since everyone has big investments, who are you going to support?
And what the hell is the endgame, to peacefully take over Qatar and force a Saudi regime there, or to bomb it to shit and just take their resources?
And what if the Saudis are the ones who get their asses kicked, since they're god damn incompetent in warfare.
I doubt that burgers would let Iran and friends to establish a massive foothold in that entire region, but you can't exactly step in and start fighting against Turkey,Iran and Qatar.
Also USA has troops stationed in Qatar.

Fuck it, we're looking at WW3 here aren't we?
Well whatever comes of this, it's going to be a wild ride if there's any sort of an escalation.

Turks have always been imperialists of the highest tier, almost as high as kikes and burgers, hence their friendship. Well not always, Ataturk was ok.

I think Finland won't support anyone. Not even in NATO, Russians may be going south to help Iran.

I support Iran because fuck the Saudis.

I think their endgame is promised land. WW2 gave Israel the country, WW3 will expand it. That's why they've kicked so many sandniggers to Europe, so there's no one to stay and fight and resist a potential assimilation of half of Syria.

The troops stationed in Qatar had a (partial?) evac last night.
Hope that helps :DDD

A quick rundown (1/2):
Documentary dramatisation following two families in Sheffield during the runup to an all out nuclear exchange, and what comes after.
The chronology of the events leading up to the war is depicted entirely via television and radio news broadcasts, as well as a few newspaper reports.
>An allegedly US-backed coup d'état in Iran prompts the Soviet Union to occupy the northern part of the country, ostensibly to prevent the return of a pro-Shah regime.
>On 8 May, the USA hints at deploying troops to Iran, to prevent the Soviets from reaching the oil fields in the south.
>On 11 May, the US Navy in the Indian Ocean is put on high alert when rumours begin to circulate of the disappearance of the USS Los Angeles in the Persian Gulf.
>The next day, a collision in the Gulf of Oman between the Soviet battlecruiser Kirov and the USS Callaghan leaves the former badly damaged.
>Subsequent discoveries by American and Israeli search and rescue vessels reveal debris and an oil slick from the missing Los Angeles, prompting the US President to warn the Soviets over the possibility of an "armed confrontation—with incalculable consequences for all mankind."
>On 17 May, the US sends its rapid deployment force to take defensive positions around Isfahan in western Iran, hoping to deter the Soviets from making further advances to the south, with a supporting role being taken by squadrons of B-52 bombers and AWACS early warning aircraft landing at US airbases in Turkey.
>The Soviets respond by transporting nuclear warheads into their newly established base in Mashhad.
>On 20 May, the USA proposes a joint withdrawal from Iran to take effect by noon on the 22nd, while Britain sends troops to Europe amidst a build-up of Warsaw Pact troops in East Germany.

A quick rundown (2/2):
>Russians ignore the US ultimatum and, an hour after the expiry, are attacked at their base in Mashhad by B-52 bombers using conventional weapons. The Soviets defend the base with a nuclear tipped surface-to-air missile, destroying many B-52s. The battle ceases after US forces launch a battlefield nuclear weapon at the Soviet base.
>The next day, fighting breaks out between the US and Soviet navies.
>On 24 May, amidst rioting in East Germany, the Soviets cut the road links into and out of West Berlin, whilst offering occupying NATO forces free passage to the west. The USS Kitty Hawk is sunk in the Persian Gulf, and the US blockades Cuba. Anti-Soviet riots in major US cities damage several Russian consulates.
>The next day, the BBC reports on the Mashhad nuclear exchange, stating that the weapons used were within the range of 50–100 kilotons, and that cities in western Pakistan are being evacuated due to the fallout.
>As tensions between the US and the Soviet Union over Iran escalate, the Home Office directs Sheffield City Council to assemble an emergency operations team, which establishes itself in a makeshift bomb shelter in the basement of the town hall.
>After the ignored US ultimatum to the Soviets results in a brief tactical nuclear skirmish, Britain is gripped by fear, with looting and rioting rife. "Subversives" including peace activists and some trade unionists are arrested and interned under the Emergency Powers Act.
>At 8:30 a.m. GMT on 26 May, the town hall office transmitter signals Attack Warning Red, and Sheffield's air raid sirens sound.

A quick rundown (ITS HAPPENING/2):
>Panic breaks out in the city.
>Sheffield operations staff man their desks.
>At 8:35 a.m. a nuclear warhead air bursts high over the North Sea, producing an electromagnetic pulse which damages or destroys communications and most electrical systems throughout the UK and northwestern Europe.
>Two minutes later the first missile salvos hit NATO targets.
>Includes nearby RAF Finningley 18 miles (29 km) from Sheffield.
>Although the city is not yet heavily damaged, the mushroom cloud from Finningley is visible
>Chaos reigns in the streets.
>Sheffield is soon hit by a one-megaton warhead launched at the Tinsley Viaduct.
>Strategic targets, including steel and chemical factories in the Midlands, are the primary targets.
>Two thirds of all UK homes destroyed.
>Immediate deaths ranging between 17 and 30 million.

The Turks would have some serious logistical issues to deal with if they wanted to get troops to Qatar. The Qatari peninsula adjoins Saudi Arabia to the south west and the UAE is just across the water to the south east. Egypt controls the Suez canal as always and the land routes are... Tricky. Turkey cannot hope to take the Gulf States and Egypt all on its own. It can't force open the Suez canal, it can't seize it without the international community removing them, even if they could get it away from the Egyptians. Their air force is inferior to the Gulf States and Egypt.

Qatar is fucked and there's not much that can be done about it if Saudi Arabia decides to flip the table on them.

Qatar is in a really bad spot. They're going to fall if KSA and allies are serious about it and there's not a hell of a lot that anyone can do. The Iranians would have to cross Iraq to get to Saudi Arabia and establish a supply chain... Likewise is true of KSA. It's a serious effort that middle eastern armies are notoriously bad at.

While I agree that Turkey is not going to be able to do much to aid Qatar militarily, they could conceivably move supplies and small numbers of light infantry by air, assuming they can get an airspace corridor from Iraq or Iran. They have 4 A400Ms and a dozen or so C130s.

While Qatar has a tiny airforce, it does have a disproportionate number of advance anti-air systems. The Saudi coalition may not be able to secure air superiority.

Most of Qatar's external support (assuming it gets any) will have to come from Iran. Turkey of course could just move weapons and supplies overland to Iran for shipment across the gulf.

This would be the ideal. Eventually the west would have to step in and guarantee the victory of the side that brings us the most beneficial trade agreements... but balkanizing the middle east and annihilating their market share in the oil industry is the best solution possible. They use their wealth to fund terrorism and efforts to destroy the west. What ever happens, we need to eliminate Islamic power once and for all.

no one actually wants to fight a modern war so it really comes down to "whoever puts boots on the ground first wins"

for example, Russians put boots on the ground in Crimea so they stopped the US from intervening. Russians put boots on the ground in Syria first and stopped the US from deposing Assad.
This is the way modern war goes. Not with actual conflict, but whoever gets there first. That's why having military bases all over the fucking world is so important.

If there is conscription, file as a conscientious objector. Tell them that your personal moral beliefs prevent you from killing, or participate in any action that leads to the death of another person, period. If they ask you if this means even in self defense, you tell them that you would rather die yourself than take arms against another person.

This is your right. No one will respect a sniveling coward like you, but I absolutely do not want to have to serve next to someone as weak and incapable as yourself, so do us a favor and research conscientious objector status.

sounds like deterrence to me, Turkey rushing new legislature in so that nothing happens to Qatar as most ME countries wouldn't risk open war with Turkey.

Same reason the USA just deployed new weapons systems in Poland a few months back. Poland wasn't in any danger but it sent a message to Russia that their soviet ideals can fuck off.

Deterrence doesn't men war, it prevents it.

Alright, but it still boils down to what USA does.

Have they made a statement yet? The others all did.
>>
>>128892180
Qatar doesn't have a modern military and the junk they have is crewed by Pakistanis. Only 30% of the Qatari military are citizens and the rest are from Pakistan. I'm not inspired.
>>
>>128893587
Honestly at that point they would probably just be thrown out of NATO. No one is committing suicide for Turkey.

all Middle East countries fund terrorism at this point desu.
even Turkey has the "turkmen" in Syria and was angry when Russia bombed them.

Its so ironic how we point fingers at whoever we want to when they are all guilty of it as they are fighting a proxy war.

>>128893587
simply put, we wouldn't attack a NATO meme because of repercussion it would have.

You've consumed too much RT if you think the USA is THAT stupid.

We aren't going to topple our global power structure for Saudi Arabia despite what dumb asses in /sg/ say.
Its more wishful thinking on their part.

The Saudis are fighting a determined insurgency that melts into the population. Insurgencies are difficult for anyone. Not everyone lies down and takes it like Germany did in 1945.

Qatar has a standing military that can be engaged and defeated. The locals take very little interest in serving in their own military, paying foreigners to do it for them. I find it unlikely that they would fight an insurgency against the Saudis.

US, as in Trump, already came out in support of Saudi when he said Qatar has been collectively blamed for funding terror. Saudi is acting on behalf of US interests here, so Trump is most likely waiting for Qatars response before he himself reacts further.

It was kind of a joke, but kind of not. I don't even know where the US officially stands on this considering that we have military bases in all these countries, and they're gearing up for war with each other.

It's so fucked up. The US has a base in Qatar and Saudi Arabia just cut Qatar off. We're allied with Saudi Arabia and in NATO with Turkey. Turkey now wants to put troops into Qatar. Iran is pissed off against Saudi Arabia and Israel hates them.

Iran doesn't share a border with Qatar, however and I doubt either of them have the amphibious capability to seriously land any appreciable number of troops in Qatar. Iran and Turkey have inferior air forces as well. The GCC would control the air and the sea. Turkey and Iran would do best on land, but that is a very complicated proposition.

If Germany is playing games in the ME, it's getting ahead of itself. The EU is not stable enough for real pressure, and they don't have their federal military in place yet.
