If people aren't born gay doesn't that mean we'd be in the wrong to kill or otherwise harass them? Personally I liked the idea of gay people being 'born that way' because it puts them on a lower rung of society upon birth. Saying they're not born that way is basically saying that it's society's fault that an individual turned out gay. Therefore it would be wrong for the same society to kill or otherwise treat that individual badly.
We should just stay with the born this way line so it's easier to discriminate.
