Never been, never wanna go. Looks like shit. Shit flag. No more buffalo.
I lived there for 4 years.
I guess that's all I have to say.

Might want to google Yellowstone anon.
Lived in Wyoming my whole life. Better than any other state. This thread is shitty bait

Go to Hart mountain. Gookcentration camp during WW2. And Green River/Jackson are always nice. Avoid Rawlins, Rock Springs, and Riverton. Literally gigantic meth dens...
>>128826954
Lived in the town of Gillette Wyoming during the summer of 1984. Walked the trail around Devil's Tower on many occasions and camped for a couple weeks at a rustic campground in Keyhole. Don't know where you're getting your dislike from, but you're missing out on some great scenery.
>>128826954
Dakotas and Wyoming are awesome. Hiking wilderness and driving dirt backcountry roads is a good time

It's probably a Californian. If they figure out Wyoming is nice they'll move there and shit it up like they've done to Colorado, Washington, and Oregon.

It's not even Pennsylvania, how could it even pass as a state.

I actually like this shit right here.
Big rolling prairies with buttes scattered around. Hiking through rolling grasslands for like 10 miles is a good time.

OP is clearly a pussy who doesn't even /out/
>>128829246
They've been saying this forever and it'll probably not happen in our lifetime. If it does, then it's a good way to go
>>128829246
Blowing up is a easy way to go. You probably won't feel a thing if you're close enough to the blast.
True story. At Devils Tower, I overheard an out of state tourist ask one of the park rangers
"Where's the runway where the UFOs landed?" And they were completely serious about it.

What is living in Wyoming like?
I have been considering moving out there, but I am not sure about the job opportunities and also the isolation.
I grew up in northern Wisconsin but did not like it that much because of the extreme isolation, lack of job opportunites, and alcoholism
>>128826954
Wyoming looks just about the comfiest US state there is. Beautiful nature, very few urbanites. What's wrong with it?
>>128830705
Californians don't like it.They are smart city people.
I spent a year in Rock Springs as a student,
had a good time there.
it's very comfy if you love high dessert, nothing much to do though
very different from where I'm from
>>128830639
It's kind of like how you described Wisconsin. The people around here are pretty nice and the crime rate is very low. People leave there cars on and unlocked when they go into stores during the winter time. The jobs her are mostly truck driving or working for a mining company, but the mining jobs pay pretty well and they are desperate for people who aren't retarded.

I lived in Laramie, so it didn't feel that isolated since Fort Collins was only 50 minutes away. You're even closer if you're in Cheyenne, it's just a straight shot down I-25. The rest of the state is pretty isolated though.
Laramie is home to WyoTech, which is a for-profit "college" for aspiring mechanics. It attracts mouth breathing knuckle draggers from all over the country and they're smoke belching lifted pick up trucks. Other than that the people are the same as anywhere else. The climate in Laramie is extremely harsh, even by upper midwestern standards (where I'm from originally too). One winter the temperature got down to almost -50, and that's without windchill.
Cheyenne, and most of the rest of the state, have a slightly milder climate, but not by much. Cheyenne is much less picturesque than Laramie, but it's also more convenient to live in due to being right on 25 and having more places to shop in the actual town itself.
Winter in Laramie lasts from about October to June. It doesn't snow much, it's just cold and windy. Most of the snow actually falls in May iirc.
All in all there are much worse places to live, but there are also better ones. It makes sense to live there if you're from there, or if you got some well paying job you couldn't get anywhere else. I wouldn't go out of my way to move there though, as there are better options, at least in my opinion.
>>128826954
wyoming is unironically the best and most aesthetic state

Thanks for the insight. Probably won't be moving there then, but definitely want to visit more of wyoming.
>better places to live
Like where?

Colorado. Everyone memes that it's full of liberal scum pot heads, and to some extent it is, but it's extremely exaggerated (unless you live in Boulder or someplace similar). The same type of people that live in Wyoming also live in Colorado. There are way more mountains to explore and spend your weekends in. It's crowed and there's traffic if you're in Denver, but you also have all the luxuries and comforts of a big city. I grew up in the middle of nowhere so I'm used to having nothing near me, but it's extremely nice to have a large selection of places to eat out from, especially if you're a single guy. There's also women you can actually date, that's not to say there aren't attractive girls in Wyoming, your odds are just much worse.
I personally like Arizona the most. Yeah it's hot as hell in the summer, but that keeps it from becoming another California. It's cheap, and in my opinion the desert is beautiful, and if that get boring mountains are always close by.
Utah's another one, but I'd actually pick Wyoming over it simply due to the fact that it's inhabited and run by a cult. Mormons are hard working and clean, but they're also crazy and cliquish. You'll feel like a foreigner they're if you're not a part of their religion, and they'll go out of their way to try to convert you, and once they give up on you, you're ostracized. Utah's one the most beautiful states, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone for that reason alone.
>>128826954
>superimposing the state seal on a buffalo
How badly can you fuckup a flag?
Yeah fuck Wyoming.
I would stay far away, as far away as possible.
>>128826954
No buffalo? too bad they make the best burgers. :P
