The USSR was undoubtedly a blight on the world, but since its collapse we (NATO) have objectively become the aggressors in this fight.

I'm well aware that Putin is an authoritarian leader who does some bad shit. I certainly wouldn't want to LIVE in Russia, but the reality is that Russia MUST have an strong central authority figure to ensure it's existence. Compared to past Russian leaders, Putin is probably one of the "most liberal" and "least exploitative" to ever hold office.

tl;dr I don't condone everything Russia does, but they are a White Christian nation. We should be working together against the TRUE evils of our time.

Gore Vidal wrote an essay about that many years ago. He said there was a constellation of forces preventing it, like rabid Zionists. The essay is here.
