So when I was going to a trade school I had the option of going for another year which costed considerably more than the previous ones. I didn't take the year because it was meant more of managerial/director positions which I had no interest in being and because I simply did not have the money.

So what the fuck is going through these peoples head when they take on debts like this?

The US should allow bankruptcy for student loans and force the universities which accepted those loans to pay them back.

That will make universities provide useful degrees and eliminate the shitty ones with no economic prospects.

1.) They go to college and major in some lazy ass shit because they're lazy sacks of shit that don't want to actually work in a real productive field. Turning a wrench or doing mathematics is beyond the capability of your average college retard.

2.) They're like 18 years old when they get these loans and told their whole lives that taking on a massive loan is fine because supposedly every college degree will secure you a job in the future and of course they come to find that's not true at all.
