Biggest differences to understand between Orthodoxy/Catholics and protestants is that protestants take the bible literal word for word. They can generally recite shit front to back and they always mean it Literally. Where as Catholics, they use the bible simply as a tool for worship. They still read it, but they wont go reciting front to back as much, and they dont take it as literal. They look at the message behind the stories. Also important to understand that there are some christians who believe the old testament should still be followed, or others like me who beleive that when Jesus died giving us a new covenant and there fore we only folllow the new testament. Just read into it ourself and go with which ever one suits you I guess. Talk to people from both and study it yourself to make that decision. Religion is more of a individual thing of teaching yourself how to behave in our world.

Do you autists realize that your constant bickering drives people away from Christianity as a whole. Honestly, where I am from it i generally the Baptist who try and start stuff with the Catholics. I'm non-denom myself, I witnessed a Baptist friend of mine yelling one day at our Catholic friend simply because the Catholic friend said that the Church didnt have a bible until later, that at first it was all tradition, (the argument was that Why do Catholics have all the tradition, why not just go by what is in the bible) the Baptist friend just wanted to show the Catholic that he was of the better. In all it really doesnt matter, I just think people need to understand the differences. Most of it springs from ignorance of them. I hope youre not leaving your faith though. Regardless if what you think of the denominations, that shouldnt effect your relationship and beliefs with God.
