As it stands, the wealthy have little incentive to invest in the domestic markets, its why they all hide their billions in offshore accounts.

All the government has to do is create incentives for the wealthy to throw that money down to all the peasants - but they wont, because the same wealthy people also control the government. So why don't the wealthy create incentives for themselves? Why would they? If you're in first place, you don't stop and let everyone else catch up unless it somehow magically ensures your victory. The wealthy only reinvest down stream if they believe it will also make them richer. Since they don't do that as often as the peasants would like, the obvious conclusion is that it's not worth it.

The wealthy are always tipping the scales in their favor - they always have and they always will. Right now, they have 90% of the pie, and laugh as everyone else fights over the remaining 10%. Technically, no one loses except the banks here.

Let's give a simple example of fractional reserve banking in practice. We start with person A who has $100 in cash and deposits it in the bank. The bank now has $100 in reserves and owes person A $100. The bank then loans $100 to persons B-I, giving them all $100 in credit. That is, they owe the bank $100, and the bank owes them $100. It is hoped that they will pay back $105 or so, due to interest, but the reality is some of them end up defaulting. Those defaulters paid $100 to a second bank, and later declared bankruptcy. So the first bank owes the second bank money, and we'll say persons B and C no longer owe any money. Their credit rating is destroyed, however. So after persons D-I pay back their loans, there's still the matter of about $200 more in deposits floating around than we started with. The bank is likely going to borrow some cash from the federal reserve to cover their asses if they lend too much, which introduces more physical money into circulation. Although this eventually has to be paid back, more money will be borrowed from the federal reserve before all of that money is paid back.

The amount of physical dollars in circulation has been increasing over the years, and will continue to increase. So will the amount of debt, but ultimately, that's just going to be paid back with more debt in turn.

Really, the net effect is this:

The amount of cash in circulation will continue to increase.
The amount of debt in circulation will continue to increase, and not everyone will pay it back.
The value of the dollar will continue to decrease, but at a slower rate than the average rate of return of a buy and hold strategy of a diverse portfolio of stocks.
The US National Debt is almost 20 trillion dollars, and it will be twice that within our lifetimes.

As long as the economy keeps growing perpetually, we won't have a problem... until it stops, that is.

The thing with capitalism is it's literally impossible for it to mess up in the long run if it's a free market because the money will always go towards what is wanted. If the rich invest on businesses that are successful and get richer then there's nothing wrong with that, they're literally creating jobs.
