You're confusing the idea that people can be inherently good, with that of, therefore, since they follow Islam, it too is good, look at its effect on them (which by your argument is "none" or positive).

The problem of course has nothing to do with the people, their IQ or skin color, it is the ideas instilled within them due to the literature they're exposed to. Anybody has freedom of speech or expression, in of itself, the Quran, Hadiths and Sunnah are harmless, it is the ideological systems and their compulsions which are attached to said books which are the danger. People themselves do not conflict with anything inherent in Western culture, the individual is cherished, this however is where Islam arises as a conflict. Islam approaches the world, common through its denominations, that humans and your encounters with them can and should be seen from a dualistic perspective. That is of course, a set of rules for conduct between Muslims and other Muslims and a different set of rules for conduct between Muslims and the other, the infidel, the unbeliever, the kaffir, etc. The point here being, it is a simple task to make the statement "Islam/Muslims are compatible with Western culture", especially when choosing to only back that with anecdotal evidence, which, as shown, is irrelevant to the ideas themselves. Essentially, to place it bluntly, you cannot believe in equality, while simultaneously promoting the oppression of religious minorities, which Islam does, structurally and rampantly. It is not compatible, in fact, it may be diametrically opposed to Western values, you however are too much of a bleeding heart to think that through.
