No, Christianity says the chosen are those who Christ draws to himself, Jew or Gentile. The rest of the Jews are accursed of God because they have rejected Christ, they did not recognize their own God when he came to dwell among them and they conspired to kill Him. The evils and hypocrisies of the Jewish ruling class of Jesus's day are spelled out in no uncertain terms in the gospels. In fact, they were the only ones Jesus ever had any harsh words against.

The Christ-followers of the first three centuries were both anti-Temple and anti-Empire. Once the Roman Empire co-opted and diluted the Christian message, that was the beginning of the end for Christianity, at least as an organized religion. Of course for those with eyes to see and ears to hear, the King remains enthroned, but the earthly church has little to do with that.

Christians who support Israel are just shallow thinkers. They don't realize Israel is a corrupt secular state that worships Mammon not God.

The story of Christ as recorded in the gospels is the story of what happens when the Spirit of God comes into the world, and is resisted by the worldly powers of organized religion and the state. Any time the message of Christ is co-opted by religious doctrine or state power, it has already betrayed its original message, because the whole story is about how those very forces will stop at nothing to suppress and silence the true Christ.
