I don't understand how building 7 just straight up falls into itself at the speed it did.

The structural damage it would sustain from the other buildings collapsing would have had to have been symmetrical damage.

Building 7 should have been damaged in odd places, and if the damage was extensive enough to cause a collapse, it would have collapsed in an odd way.

But it just falls straight in on itself.
