It's a very hush-hush, but well known fact. The only reason it's covered up is because the Arab nations (saudis/quatar etc) are all "allied" to the west, allow their bases, and do a lot of trade.

What I wanna know is why the Saudis have gone down the "you're funding Islamic terror" route against Quatar when they do the exact same thing. If it gets messy, they could very easily be implicated themselves if Quatar actually provides paper trails and contects if they feel really threatened.

And if it comes out (to the public knowledge) that BOTH saudi arabia and Quatar have been funding Islamic terror in the middle east and worldwide... the desert is about to get a lot hotter.

it's also a fact that the USA, by proxy, funded, armed and trained ISIS initially. (Funding, training "moderate" fighters in Syria, iraq, lebanon, and providing all the shiny new weapons/vehicles to Iraq which were "claimed" by ISIS.)

Retard. Qatar and KSA+pals have been at odds since the yemen war, so it goes back much further than Trump. It has to do with 2 things: one is alleged qatari support for iranian militias and the second is their relationship with muslim brotherhood. The latter is the most bizarre allegation since KSA was the one who welcomed the muslim brotherhood/sayid qutb's followers after Nasser kicked them out of egypt in the 60s - and KSA was the one to utilize that network to propagate their wahhabi ideology worldwide ever since. So that can't be a genuine concern. And regarding Iran, some other anon pointed out Qatar's growing relationship with some iraqi shia militant groups but I don't know if that's just it.

Whichever way, this situation is something Iran will also seek to exploit. According to the newspapers the saudi-led coalition has given Qatar 2 weeks to remedy the problem. Things could get interesting.
