Qatar General /qg/ - Pastebin and Better OP Needed Edition
>What We Know So Far
Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain and the UAE have all severed ties with Qatar over terrorism support, not long after Trump's Middle Eastern tour.
Qatar is a known Clinton Foundation sanctuary, but houses several US bases.
Anything relating to the unfolding Qatar v. Everybody Else situation goes here.

Well, that comes as no surprise.
Whenever Al Qaida or ISIS had something to proclaim, they called their friends at Al Jazeera. Whenever they had beheadings or something like that to show, they called their friends at Al Jazeera. Whenever Al Jazeera needed news, they called their friends at ISIS or Al Qaida.
Qatar has been the media arm of terror for years, and prince Ath-Thani has been personally behind it.

I have a surprise for you anons, (pic related) look into Keff Koons in connection to Hillary and Qatar. Could be motivation for Trump to bring down a pedophile network AND at the same time a country that was amassing too much power and influence outside of just having a lot of fiat currency. The second point could be one of the biggest reasons why this is happening.
Just look at what happened with Qaddafi after he acquired power beyond fiat money.

Also, my take on this.

Obviously it is suspicious that Trump just visited SA, Egypt, and Israel. As well as agreeing to an arms deal.
We need to think big picture.

This move serves several purposes that benefits and strengthens Saudi Arabia and furthers the anti-shia/Iran agenda.

1. Trump and the media will portray Qatar as THE main financier terrorism.
2. This will distract people from SA funding and thus helps them. As tensions and anger is rising.
3. Qatar is a VERY strategic location for the US in their fight to eradicating (or suppressing) Iran.

Also, there are obviously signs that there are chips on the table that hypothetically could've been used to bargain with Trump to allow this to happen.
1. As the anon said previously, oil. That sweetens the deal.
2. If it has been agreed that the US can set up several military bases in the Qatar area after they are finished, then it strengthens American military supremacy in the region. So if there was a war, they have a base in a safer area than Afganistan, since they are in the Saudi's corner of the Middle East.
3. Weapons deal was a very nice kick for the military industrial complex. Something to sweeten him up.
4. There could be something damning about the Clintons, or they can fabricate evidence in the midst of the chaos. Nore than likely that there is actual evidence of something though, because of Huma's ties with the Muslim Brotherhood.

This could very well be another strategic power play for military dominance in that region of the world.

Why wouldn't they want to spread their Wahhabi ideology by funding them? They're ideologies are both similar and their means to enforce their strict laws are also similar in brutality to some varying degrees.

No, this dumbass leaf has no idea what he's talking about. Even though ISIS is hostile to the SA regime, the Saudis are confident their domestic spying network can protect them. Gulf politics are exceptionally opaque but breadcrumbs are out there. I had a feeling we'd be seeing more to come the moment I saw how the UAE and Saudi treated the hack of Qatari state media. Hackers posted a bunch of fake comments attributed to Qatari emir related to Iran, Muslim Brotherhood; even after Qatar disavowed, UAE / Saudi kept running the stories.

One thing I will say as a certainty: Qatar can't get out of this without something dramatically changing. That Riyadh and Abu Dhabi took it this far signals they're really pissed off and really willing to exert direct pressure on Qatar to fix it.

Sec. State Tillerson has called for the countries to all address their issues and stay united (too late obviously)

I'd be shocked if they pulled CENTCOM out without Americans already being informed.

Ofc. If war is declared on Qatar, they'll turn to their only current ally, Iran, with whom they have close ties due to OPEC, the non-aligned movement, and Organisation of the Islamic Conference. The Qatar Armed Forces are the military forces of Qatar. The country maintains a modest military force of approximately 11,800 men, including an army (8,500), navy (1,800) and air force (1,500). Qatar's defence expenditures were a total of $1.913 billion, about 1.5% of the national GDP, as of 2010 according to the SIPRI.

>Qatar has recently signed defence pacts with the United States in 2002 and 2013 and with the United Kingdom, as well as with France earlier, in 1994.

>Qatar plays an active role in the collective defence efforts of the Gulf Cooperation Council; the other five members are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE, and Oman.

* SA-Israel Arabs ostracize Qatar
* Qatar allies with Iran
* Now SA-Israel can re-enact FDR-Churchill and Pearl Harbor, and use an attack by Qatar as an excuse to attack Iran

(The US goaded Japan into attacking Pearl Harbor because since Japan and Germany were allies, the US could use the attack by Japan as an excuse to join the Zionist war in Europe to destroy Germany. So Qatar would be Japan, Iran Germany, and the Israeli-Saudis want any possible excuse to start a war with Iran.)

Shia have a deep belief that there's this Leader called "Al Mehdi", and he is hiding somewhere fro 400 years, and he will only come up once there's a Shia state rulling all Arab countries from Iran to Morocco. That's why there's a huge tension between S.A and Iran. Because of Iran goals to expand in the region.

That's also the reason behind The Iraqi/Irani war back in Saddam's days, he was the shield that guarded the arab nations, but he fucked up afterwards when he attacked Kuwait.

Its the Muslim Brotherhood dummies. Their core ideology is pan-Islamism. Just take a look at this wikipedia page, they have political power in many Muslim countries.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muslim_Brotherhood

They want to essentially unite all muslims under a caliphate, sound familiar? Yes ISIS and al-Qaeda have the same ideology, the MB's is done with a lot less violence and a lot more scheming. This is a threat to Saudi Arabia and Co because it means that if things were to go perfectly for the MB, the oil shieks would be deposed. The Saudi royal family are recognized by the top islamic authority as protectors of Mecca, blessed by Allah etc, etc, to rule over the Arabian Peninsula and protect it. This is why ISIS has also launched attacks in Saudi Arabia, because they believe that they are the true protectors, blessed by Alllah, etc, etc to rule. For some reason Qatar has protected the MB and given them sanctuary, of course if the MB can operate safetly there then they are a threat to the Saudis. The MB started the Arab Spring and succesfully managed to gain power in Egypt, before they were deposed of course. When that happened it signaled that they became way too powerful.

Qatar funding the MB/Hamas and being soft on Iran recently does not please (((them))), hence (((they))) have pushed their Saudi pets to take action.

The difference is that Qatar STATE-sponsor terrorism while Saudi doesn't, not openly, they use their princes for that or let them do it with consequences. Princes often in a government-branch which isn't a suprise bc public-sector is HUGE in Saudi. That's why then mention government.

Tamim stated that some of his neighbors are supporting terrorism and that Iran is an islamic power. Which the Qataris claim was done by a hacker and not a real statement from tamim.

Qatar has very strong financial links with France. Especially since Sarkozy. France even has a special fiscal exemption for all Qatari holdings in France. They own the paris Saint germain football club but also numerous hotels and real estate complexes. These holdings amount for several billion euros.

Never, both sides have too much to lose and not much to gain from an armed conflict. The most that's going to happen is increased proxy conflicts and more grand standing.

That's exactly why they would support terrorists in his nation. Before today Qatar, Sauds, and Israelis were all peas in the same pod, granted Qatar was the worst using Al Jazeera to manufacture the Arab Spring. Something happened. Something made these people change their turn and backstab Qatar.

>>128568653
See >>128566461 and read this twitter thread: https://twitter.com/SoheilKhanzada/status/871559101909782529 explains it pretty well.
Qatar wasnt willing to jump on the anti-iran train lead by Saudi/US, plus they have been funding MB/Hamas for decades which saudis and egyp hasnt been happy about but ignored until now.
