I think that they(ISIS) know that if they attack Israel, the US will have a more heavy role in the region and war than it does which in turn will probably make Russia have a larger role as well. The result being that those two countries getting the spoils and ISIS getting none, or perhaps at best some of N. Africa but they'd have to share with Boko Haram and the other groups.
The other argument which is just a conspiracy in my mind (at the moment at least - I haven't read anything to substantiate it) is that Israel propped ISIS up out of the remnants of Saddams regime in order to destabilise the region. This could be for "Greater Israel" although that's unlikely due to the Saudis, Iranians and Pakistanis still being there. I have read reports that ISIS was selling some crude to Israel but it's pretty hard to tell what's bullshit and what isn't, all sides have non-stop propaganda. If Israel did prop them up maybe they were supposed to sell/trade with Russia or Iran and if that info got out it would be a blow to their countries.
Whatever it is it isn't as simple as one or the other.

Israel directly funds and supports ISIS. IS publicly apologized for accidentally firing upon IDF ground forces, at the very least they have an open line of communication.

Ever wonder why every nation that surrounds Israel has been 'destabilized' in the past 2 decades?

Here's why. The Syrian War is just so that when Assad is gone, they can secure the Golan Heights pipeline and when "terrorists" attack the pipeline in Syria, Israel can grab land "to protect it" since Assad is ousted.

This will setup Israel with Oil income (pipeline). It will circumvent the Russian pipeline to Europe, and thats why Russia is involved in the first place. They don't want to lose 80% of their economy.

It's illogical to think Israel wants ISIS. For the simple fact that they are eradicating Jewish history. They bulldozed the Nimrod Temple, which has the oldest depiction ever of Israelites and the only non-biblical source for some biblical kings. It makes no logical sense why Israel would be okay with that.
