Hungary is in that strange place of being incredibly comfy to visit, but seems kind of shit if you live there.

I'm tossing up whether to move there with my girlfriend before Brexit comes in to play, if I can work out a way of making a decent income and improving my Hungarian. Pay is pretty poor and alot of things don't cost much less than in the west.

In the UK the average warehouse wagslave probably earns £1100 a month. I know of a factory in Hungary where they earn £277 a month. Petrol/Benzine is £1.13 in the UK, 93-96p per litre in Hungary.

Other than that, Villages and small towns are really comfy and if you're happy to live a rural life without alot of the consumerism and need to have all the latest gadgets etc like we seem to in the west, I believe a really nice life could be achieved there.
